About LisaFarm
LisaFarm is our friendly directory for farms, rentals, and services around the United States. We focus on the practical things families and small operations actually need: goat rentals, bee pollination, orchards and U-pick farms, farmstays, grazing and land leases, and more.
We aim to highlight great operations, keep an eye on quality, and add thoughtful blog posts and guides along the way.
Who is Farmer Lisa?
“Farmer Lisa” is the friendly guide who greets you on the homepage. She’s there to nudge you toward better searches, explain options in plain language, and surface listings or resources that might actually help. She’s an AI assistant with a sweet, southern heart: warm, practical, and concise. She doesn’t replace real farmers or professionals, but she can help you find them faster.
How listings are chosen
Listings come from a mix of sources: farms that add themselves, farms we discover and review, and suggestions from visitors. Over time, we’ll keep improving our intake and quality checks so that duplicate, confusing, or irrelevant entries stay out of the directory.
If you run a farm or farm-adjacent business and want to appear on LisaFarm, you can use the “Add a Listing” or “Claim / Remove” buttons on the homepage. We’re still growing, so things may evolve as we learn what works best for both visitors and farm owners.
Where LisaFarm is headed
The goal is simple: make it easier to live a little closer to the land, whether you’re in the city, suburbs, or out in the country. Over time you’ll see more listings, better categories, richer images, and a growing library of short, practical blog posts from Farmer Lisa.
If LisaFarm helps you find a good farmstay, a goat crew to clear your fence line, or a place to buy local honey, then it’s doing its job.
